1st High Table Dinner

This would be a pretty boring entry as the event itself.
Here are some photos of the High Table Dinner that I attended last week.
Just like formal dinner but with suits and dress.
Just some information, these formal dinners are compulsory. There is 5 each sem, and if you dun attend more than 3 of them, you are out of the hall.

The blue qi pao girls.
And did I tell you, I found out that there are no fat girls in Hong Kong.
Amazing.

Namecards will be given and have to be returned personally.
Reason?
To take your attendance. ~_~
Should have mosiac the room no., now i will have hong kong girls budging into my room.

My dear room mate, Johnny Mok.
He's from SG too, lucky to have a fellow country mate to slp with eh?
Anyway, he's from SMU and is single and available. (I think)
Interested girls please leave a comment, I will let him know.

The guy who has been visiting Jeraine's room when she was in Hong Kong.
He's a national youth volleyball team player and stays 2 rooms besides mine.
Hey Jeraine! Say hi to Peter!
That's all folks.

Macau + Zhu Hai Trip

So we decided to go Macua this weekend. There were 5 of us. In the picture, we have JiaHao, King and Lucas. And behind the camera, we have Cherie and Ri Huang.

Boat.

Casino.

More casinos.

Then we entered the Grand Lisboa. Ri Huang said that it was the most popular casino.
No pictures allowed inside.

I din knew Macau had many historical sites till i got there. So we went to a few famous tourist points.
This is the St. Paul blah blah blah church, with only its front door remaining. The rest of the building was burnt down by a big fire.

From the picture, you can see how famous it is. I wonder whats the reason though.
Maybe if I burn down someone's house and left its door intact, it might get popular too?

Sidetrack abit. Anyway, I went to Rome last Sunday. Was in a hurry and din manage to get many pictures, happened to dig this 1 out.

Another flower given by China government. Who knows what it holds within for this one.

Thou shall never shave my head.

Never.

We went to some musuem during the Macau trip too.
Can't blame myself for being to sophisticated huh?
Musuem.

Musuems.

And more musuems.

The 3 of us decided to go Zhu Hai, which was north of Macau on the same piece of land. It was impromtu and therefore we had to ditch Cherie and Ri Huang.

My first encounter in Zhu Hai was a lady running around begging for money with a baby in her arms.

We felt unsafe to let people take a picture of us, so we had to take turns.

After talking with the locals, we found out that Zhu Hai is just a small place, which consist of about 8 streets of commercial area. Out of 8, 3 of them are filled with prostitutes.
RED LIGHT DISTRICT!!!

WE'VE STRIKE GOLD, BROTHERSS!!!

<<>

No they are not what you think they are.
(I guess...)

There is like 2 rows of such street bars and each bar was tended by 3-4 girls.
While we waling, we felt abit thirsty, so we stopped by for a drink.

We were thirsty.

OK... they are not fabulous.. I know.
Anyway, I chat up with this California guy drinking by himself. (I am good at picking up guys yo!)
And we took a pic inside the bar.

After the drink, we had to do what we had to do.
Hey, we are guys, and we are in RLD!!

We finally found a hotel and it was way above our expectation.
$60 for the room. $20 each.

Thats the 3 of us and Zhi Ling helping us take the photo.
What happens next shall be kept secret.

Thats a delicious street snack. The best I ate over there. Forgot what its call.

Nevermind... just appreciate the face will do.
Cya!

Day 4! Out of Hong Kong Island!

Finally left Hong Kong Island for the 1st time!!
Anyway, this is just a prove that I went to Admiralty before, since there is no street post like the 1 below(Wang Jiao).

If you still din know, I am trying to take pictures of the streey post of every MTR stop. I have already covered half of HK island by foot. Still got Kowloon, so long way to go though.

This is Wang Jiao. Alot of good stuff here. Got pirated games(but no PC ..sian), got porn, got gambling, alot of snack shops and etc

Anyway, the main event today is this place.

THE ELEMENTS!!!

THE ELEMENTS is a residential estate specially designed to trap visitors who unknowingly steps into it. I think it got its name from 五行八卦陣, even though its chinese name is 圆坊.

More about this amazing maze.

This place has 2 layer of traps: upper and lower level.

The upper level comprises of alot of flats surounding a round garden.

All sides are guarded by commando police or being barricaded either by fence or sea.

So there is no way to get out of the place from the ground level.

I tried going to different corners to get out, but never succeeded. Only residents with pass could get out.

It was a prison.

<< One of the building surrounding the maze.

And for the part 2 of the 五行八卦陣, which is situated underground. This is the map that I stole from the information counter while 黄容 was toking to 郭靖.

As you can see, the main aim of the lower level maze is to trap you with never ending circles of shops. They even has 5 distinct district: 金,木,水,火,土. I not toking cock. Its real. Click on the pic to see the words.

Lucky for me that I was a guy, I was able to see through the ruse. If it was xiu or faith, they would have been stuck here for eternity.

This are the commandoes police guarding the maze to prevent people from running out.

The logo, as you can see, are many circles that makes you dizzy and hungry. It is also part of the maze mechanism.

This couple in the picture has given up after trying very hard to get out. The guy could have gotten out, but he told me that he wanted to accompany his wife if she is to stay here forever.

This photo is to display their undying love for each other.

Due to the energy wasted while trying to get out, I bought a sushi @ HK$15. Not bad, quite cheap and since it was my favourite Inari sushi.

And I finally got out of THE ELEMENTS.

Seriously, I like the whole design concept. It was nicely plot out and has a creative architectural design.

Hope SG can have something like this too.

Anyway, this is Jordan. Not much there. Other than the shop which is closing down and has 90% disount on everything. But nothing i need.

This picture is just for me to record down the numbers, since I din have a pen when I saw them.

You Ma Di. Some good food.

The porn street. HK$10 for 3 magazines or comics.

While I was looking for PC games, the porn vcd guy keep pulling me to his porn VCD shop. I must have a deprived face eh.

you all need anything tell me k? Altho I dun need, I dun mind buying for you guys or gals(male porn avail too). :p

Sorry Lester, no hentai here, HKer dun watch anime I think.

Hong Kong Mahjong Club. Went in to take a look, but din play. Scared they think I am 賭神. they play HK$50/100 inside, which means SG$10/20...

If I play and someone 十三么, I think I no need go back SG liao...

Went into an arcade center, same as SG, but their game more based on coutry-wide connected games. Like this horse gambling game, can rear your own horse and go race.
I think SG also got, but not as hot as in HK.

This is another game which I think is quite fun and I think SG should import in too.
Its like those shooting games, just that you throw the balls at the screen. I tried once myself, quite fun. Play with frens more fun i think.

Even tuition teachers can become pop stars.
This poster is twice the size of SG's HMV TV if you cun gauge its size.

Women street.
I went in though.

Hungry and ate 6 octopus ball.
Japan food today huh?

Typical gun shops that can be seen almost any country other than SG.
Toys though. But wargames is pretty popular with the students.

Tomorrow shld be a relax day. Just need to go immigration center to get my visa. Then I will need to get kick out of HK and get back again to validate the visa. Macau shall be my hiding place then.
HUAT AH!!!

Day 2 or 3... Forget liao...

FD taking a pic as a record before moving out.

This was actually yesterday's pic. I holland at 上環 and took a long escalator which brought me to 半山. It is something like our Bukit Timah Estate, where rich people like Sis, Jaja and Xianxian live in.
Anyway, I bashed through the whole hill to get back to HKU, without a map.
My intuition navigation skill is zai.

Went to Wan Chai to do my Visa application, and I have to come back here again on this friday.. sian..

HK famous convention exhibition hall.

Another view.

A big flower given by China to congratulate Hong Kong on being duno what. Wonder if inside got bomb anot.

Wan Chai Night Scene.

This stupid shop tricked me 2 times!!
I keep thinking it was a MTR station and was looking for its entrance.

I have been to Tong Luo Wan.

The soccer court that 陳浩南 1st meet his 大哥 in 古惑仔 1.
Under renovation now.

Toys and Games Fair at Convention Hall.
Need pass to see most stuff.. so I only managed to see those open to public.

Ci BOYS~~~!!
SG also have.

Duno what is this call... but looks nice.

Whole set of it.

This is call 滾球. I spent 1/2 hour watching them play this sport. Abit like Bowling, but on grass patch. The bowl is not round i think and will curl 1 when moving.

Best food eaten today!!!
It is just meat ball with curry sauce and another sauce.
This is my 2nd stick. It suppose to have 4 balls, but I ate 1 before I could grab my camera to take a photo of it.
It is that delicious.

Poor man no $$.. so have to eat bread lor...

車仔面.As recommended by ShaoPeng. Not as nice as he describe. he even said that there is supposed to be peanut-butter-covered noodles?
But the 1 I ate was normal noodles... lousy noodles to be exact.
pretty cheap tho.

Taste not bad. Big portion too.
It is call 干炒宝猪公仔面.

thats all for today. My room mate finally moved in. Not alone anymore. Might be going for Orientation tomorrow.
SIAO ON AHH!!! I SAY U SAY !!! O O O O!!
